Round-up of the latest applications for planning permission

THE following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Acklington: Warkworth Farms, Cavil Head, conversion of traditional farm buildings to 11 residential units, in conjunction with four new build affordable units; Warkworth Farms, land west of Village Hall, four new build affordable units, in conjunction with conversion of traditional farm buildings to 11 residential units.

Mr and Mrs J Coombes, 1 Brainshaugh Farm Cottages, alterations and extension to existing cottage, with detached double garage, extensions to north elevation to form porch and two storey extension to east elevation forming new lounge, master bedroom and en-suite, associated hard and soft landscaping throughout.

Morpeth: Mr and Mrs S Sudlow, 37 Rectory Park, Deuchar Park, construction of sun room to rear; Mr Jarred Ritson, 9 Monks Ridge, proposed conversion and extension of existing garage to form bedroom and en-suite, along with pitched roof to replace existing flat roof; Mr Joe Forsyth, 38 Pretoria Avenue, two storey extension to rear.

Ponteland: Mr Ewan Grant, 16 Rowan Drive, construction of lean-to kitchen/dining extension to rear; Mr A Hudsley, 74A Western Way, Darras Hall, Tree Preservation Order, fell three oak trees and one beech tree; Mr Tim Davies, Darras Hall Dental Practice, Broadway, extension and internal refurbishment to existing surgery to provide improved entrance, reception and client facilities, as well as providing an additional surgery and staff facilities.

Mr Ricky Alder, land north west of The Beacon, West Thorn, Kirkley, construction of a steel portal framed general purpose building measuring 24.4m x 15.25m x 5.29m average height to eaves, one bay 6.1m long extension to existing stock building; Mr David Dixon, Dyke House, The Avenue, Medburn, variation of condition 2 of permission 11/01363/FUL, re-orientation of stable block; Mr R Douglas, Clenville, 6 Prestwick Road Ends, sun room to rear in lieu of conservatory; Mr David Nylander, 50 Willow Way, construction of two bay windows to front elevation.

Stannington: Mr A Crewdson, Bog House, Blagdon Estate, Seaton Burn, extension to existing farm building; Mr A Crewdson, Bog House, Blagdon Estate, Seaton Burn, new agricultural storage building.

Wallington Demesne: Mr David Wilkinson, South View, Middleton, construction of new porch.

Whalton: Mr Tim Irwin Paul Simnett, Thorneyford Farm, Kirkley, diversification of an existing agricultural business to include a farm cafe, cycle sales and repair and rentable office space, requires upgrade and conversion of existing buildings and services and the removal of buildings to create parking, also upgrade of vehicular access as required and localised landscaping.

Mr Wright, March Plantation, proposed demolition of existing dwelling and various outbuildings and replace with two detached dwellings with detached garage and parking; Mr and Mrs T Norton, land and buildings at Manor House Dairy, demolition of existing agricultural buildings and construction of eight new dwellings together with associated garages and outbuildings, gardens and sewage treatment plant.
