A MAN suffered a broken jaw after an assault at a Morpeth pub.
Police are seeking two men in connection with the attack, which happened at The Shambles in Bridge Street on Saturday.
Officers were called to the pub at about 11.15pm and a 37-year-old man was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle, where it was established that he had a broken jaw.
Police have issued descriptions of the two men they would like to trace.
One is around 5ft 7ins, in his early 30s and has short, dark hair and designer-type facial hair.
He is of stocky build and was wearing a grey, long-sleeved jumper.
The other man is about 5ft 9ins to 6ft tall, also in his early 30s, and has short, sandy-coloured hair.
He is of a very muscular build and was wearing a very tight, white, long-sleeved t-shirt, with a looped earring in his left ear.
