The event takes place at Macdonald Linden Hall Golf and Country Club near Longhorsley next week for the sixth consecutive year.

Around 20 specialist dealers from across the country are booked to attend.

There will be a wide range of items, including paintings, jewellery, antiquities, furniture, Persian carpets, glass, sculptures and fine art.

Highlights include the signed Gwendolin by Dod Proctor, who exhibited alongside Picasso and Matisse, on sale from Clerkenwell Fine Art, priced at £42,000.

There is also a Regency mahogany dining table by Gillows of Lancaster, which is selling for £11,500 from Church Street Antiques, and a signed oil on canvas, The Maranham off Dover, by South Shields artist John Scott, which has a price tag of £8,950 from John Nicholson and Dunelm Fine Art.

Other items include a bronze pointer by French sculptor Christophe Fratin and artefacts from ancient China, Greece and Rome.

The event, which is organised by The Antiques Dealers Fair, will donate funds to St Oswald’s Hospice and the Art Fund. It runs from Friday, March 8 to Sunday, March 10, open from 11am to 6pm on Friday, 10.30am to 6pm on Saturday, and 10.30am to 5pm on Sunday.
