A POTENTIALLY life-threatening drug has gone missing after a theft in Morpeth.
A handbag containing 100ml of liquid morphine was stolen from the Comrades Club on Sunday, at 1.13am.
It is in a brown glass bottle, with a white lid and a label with a pink teardrop, saying morphine oral solution issued by Wellway Pharmacy. It could be dangerous if taken by someone it has not been prescribed for.
Two 20-year-old women who were arrested on suspicion of theft have been bailed.
