THE bells rang out in Morpeth to welcome the new Royal baby.
Morpeth Clocktower Bellringers sounded a special ring for the newborn son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this morning, making it one of the earliest such tributes in the country to the new Prince.
The bellringers had gathered initially to sound the bells for the visit of Northumbria In Bloom judges to the town, but did not let the opportunity pass to honour the Royal baby.
