TOURS will take place to show progress on Morpeth’s flood alleviation scheme.
The Environment Agency will hold an open day at Morpeth Rugby Club next week for people to chat to its team and find out more about work in the town and upstream.
There will also be bus tours to the dam site at Mitford to see its construction.
The event takes place on Wednesday, from 10am to 4pm. Buses leave the club for the dam hourly from 11am.

The tour takes an hour and people should arrive 15 minutes before the bus is due to leave.
