Free sessions are being offered at a Morpeth gym to raise funds for a severely disabled schoolgirl.
Energie Ladies Fitness Club in Sanderson Arcade is throwing open its doors to non-members next week in return for donations to the All For Eve fund.
The fund was set up to support former Stannington First School pupil Eve Anderson, who is thought to be the youngest person in the world with locked-in syndrome.
The 11-year-old suffered a massive brain haemorrhage and tumour in 2011 and while she battled against the odds to survive and is fully aware of everything going on around her, she cannot move or talk and requires round-the-clock care.
The fund aims to buy specialist equipment and products that will help to improve Eve’s quality of life.
Energie is offering the free sessions from Friday, April 25 to Monday, April 28.
People are welcome to work-out in the gym, take a class or try a power plate session. All donations received will go to All For Eve.
