The Morpeth Farmers’ Market on Saturday will be marking National Herb Day.
Northern Ark Nursery is taking a stall at the monthly event (9am to 3pm). A range of herbs will be on sale alongside the perennial plants.
The enterprise will be joined by other market regulars including Castle Bakery, Northumberland Cheese, VIP Brewery and Swallow Fish.
Stallholders will be celebrating the national Love Your Local Market initiative, which runs in May.
The gallery display at Sanderson Arcade has also been changed this week to promote the town’s markets.
Andy Rutherford, head of highways and neighbourhood services at Northumberland County Council, said: “Love Your Local Market is a great way to celebrate the great range of goods and produce available at the weekly Wednesday and Farmers’ markets in Morpeth.
“We’re pleased to be working in partnership with Sanderson Arcade and other local organisations to provide these markets and it’s great to see the benefits from the investment in stalls and anchor points.”
