MORE than 90 pensioners enjoyed an afternoon of entertainment organised by Ponteland Lions Club.
Six members of the Ponteland Repertory Society, directed by their pianist Anne Havis, came along to sing for the first hour.
Many of the guests relished the chance to sing along to the classic tunes.
Afternoon tea, prepared by Lions club members and their partners, was served to all and a session of bingo followed.
The afternoon finished with a raffle, where the prizes were donated by local businesses.
