Organisers of the Northumberland History Fair are looking for more groups to take part.
This year’s fair in October will have a particular focus on the First World War to mark the centenary of the outbreak of the conflict.
There will be re-enactments, lectures and work by special interest groups.
And spaces are still available for more local and family history groups, or individuals, to join in.
Event and Exhibition Officer Liz Ritson said: “We know many communities have been inspired to explore their wartime connections so we would be delighted to hear from anyone who might like to share their findings and expertise with others.”
The fair will be held at Woodhorn on Sunday, October 26. To find out more about taking part, call 01670 624481 or email pkhaira@woodhorn.org.uk
