For the first time in four years Northumbria Police is opening external police officer recruitment.
The force is seeking to replace constables due to leave the organisation in the coming months.
Applicants must be over the age of 18 and are being encouraged from a wide range of backgrounds.
The recruitment process begins online, with successful candidates invited to an engagement event, where they will have a brief interview.
If successful, they will then progress to an assessment centre.
