Police are appealing for help to trace a missing teenage girl who could be in Northumberland.

Lillian Jacobson, 13, left her uncle’s address in Luton, Bedfordshire, at 7am on Friday, December 12, to attend school but did not arrive and has not been seen since.

It is thought that she may be in the Northumberland area.

She is described as black, of slight build, with short black braided hair. No description of her clothing is available.

It is thought that she is with her mother, also black, and officers from the Bedfordshire Missing Persons Unit are concerned for her welfare.

If anyone knows anything about Lillian’s whereabouts, or has heard from her, please contact Bedfordshire Police on 101, in confidence, or text information to 07786 200011.

Alternatively you can contact the independent crime fighting charity, Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
