THERE’S an new addition to the grounds of a village school.
For children, parents and staff at Tritlington First School have built a willow den.
The school worked with artists from Sylvan Skills to complete the creative project, which saw younger children involved in sorting the willow twigs and the older pupils weaving and shaping them.
Despite a heavy rain shower the youngsters battled through and the den was completed in time for lunch.
The project was the brainchild of the Parent Teacher group, which made all the arrangements for it to take place.
School Headteacher Liz Donaldson said: “The teachers, staff and governors feel lucky to have such a dedicated team of people committed to enriching the education of the children at the school.”
