ORIGINAL paintings will be up for grabs in an exhibition of local artists.
Morpeth Art Group will open the display at Hepscott Village Hall tomorrow, giving visitors the chance to buy members’ work for a reasonable price.
Many of the amateur artists will be on hand to discuss their paintings and techniques at the event, which will take place from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.
The artwork will continue to be displayed in the hall until late May.
The group is made up of about 20 local amateur artists, who meet every Tuesday at Stobhill Parish Hall in Stobhill Grange. Sessions run from 10.30am to 3pm, and new members would be more than welcome.
