TWO cars were torched and a third was damaged in a suspected arson attack at a caravan park.
The incident happened at the Cresswell Towers site on Sunday, at about 2am.
Fire crews extinguished the blaze and no one was injured, but police are treating it as arson.
Inspector Dave Simpson said: “Fire investigators are working to establish the cause of the fires, however initial inquiries suggest they were started deliberately and police are investigating them as arson.
“We believe two cars were set on fire and a third was damaged due to its proximity to one of the cars that was set on fire.
“We want to hear from anyone who may have seen anything or may have any information as it could help us with our inquiries.”
Anyone with information about the incident should contact police on 101, ext 69191, or call Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555111.
