A WIDOW had her car stolen while she was tending her husband’s grave.
The 76-year-old woman had parked next to Fairmoor Cemetery in Morpeth at about 12.15pm on Monday.
She left her keys inside the car when she went to tend the grave and while she was there, the silver Vauxhall Corsa, registration NX02 YSD, was stolen.
Sergeant Sharon Wilmore-Greaves said: “This was a particularly heartless offence.”
Anyone with information should call police on 101.
