Adult learners will be spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing a course this autumn.
Northumberland County Council’s Adult Learning Service offers a wide range of full and part-time courses, helping residents to pursue ambitions, make friends and gain new skills.
And this year new subjects have been introduced across the county.
Vocational and academic qualifications are offered, as well as courses for people taking up new hobbies and interests.
Among the new qualifications available are a diploma in professional cookery, access to higher education diplomas and certificates in dry stone walling.
There are also programmes for farmers to boost their IT skills, or for people to get up to speed with skills for the digital age, as well as the chance to learn Japanese, gardening, creative writing, illustrating children’s books and photography.
Courses take place throughout Northumberland.
The prospectus is available from the adult learning section of the county council’s website at www.northumberland.gov.uk and enrolment for courses is now open.
